Stop the Traffik Photography Workshop
First and foremost, check out http://www.stopthetraffik.org and read about one of the most common yet unknown crimes of our time.
When: Sept 14th 5pm-10pm (or later)
Where: TBD (somewhere in St. Louis county)
For the cost of a $100 ($50 for full time students) check made out to Stop the Traffik, I am donating my time for half a day to you to teach you what I know about portrait photography, editing, and workflow management.
I am not an accomplished photographer by any means, but I do have strengths and skills that I believe can be useful to just about anyone, and that's what I will concentrate on. I know when I was first starting out this is something I wish would have been available.
To be more specific...
- Shooting in harsh light and making it work
- Photographer-client interaction during a shoot
- Working with off camera lighting on the go
- Cutting down on editing/processing time using Adobe Lightroom
- Taking a shoot from start to finish and having a group critique
- I will answer any and all questions throughout the day
There is no minimum attendance requirement, if it's just one, than I'm game. I am capping it at 10 people (being very optimistic) to keep it as personal as I can, but no worries, if there are more that are willing to attend, I will do another date. Maybe you'll get really lucky and be the 11th person :)
*edit: If you feel more comfortable donating directly to Stop the Traffik and can provide receipt of your donation that is perfectly fine.

How do I sign up??
just send me an email, and I'll send you my address to send your check to. You can also make a direct donation and send me the receipt.
I would love to sign up for your class in September. I have been on your site for only a few minutes, and here are my observations:
1. Love your book selection. Have actually visited Normandy and corresponded with a few of those men.
2. Appreciate your charitable mindset.
3. My wife and I love Michelle Ross. We just received the disc of our latest family shoot in the mail...and she was kind enough to give me some pointers.
